Thirty-Two Weeks 5.4.2010

Wow. This is getting insanely close. I'm currently washing my first load of baby clothes as I blog!! They're so cute!

Well, two showers down, one to go and an extra sprinkle thrown in! We have the most insane amount of gratitude to our friends and family! Two showers down and we've got almost everything we could ever imagine needing! It's really cute to see how Greg handled the showers. Me and some awesome chicas helped me unload and go through the mountains of bags of shower gifts. When Greg came upstairs and saw the mayhem, he jumped right in and helped assemble the swing. He played with all of the tiny clothes and marveled at how tiny the newborn sizes were. Since that night (4 nights ago) he has become obsessed with touching/kissing my belly and saying cute things to the little man. I asked Greg if seeing all of that stuff made the baby more real to him and he said "definitely". Progress!!!

How far along? 32 weeks and 3 days
Total Weight gain? I think I may have lost since my last boast of 8 lbs
stretch marks? nope
movement? AND HOW
food cravings? gravitating more toward the sweets not
belly button- in our out? officially an outie
maternity clothes? currently sporting Greg's sweat shorts and t-shirt
annoying tidbits? work. Work is so incredibly annoying I could cry.

Congratulations on your first baby boy!!! I just wanted to let you know that Pocket Change pocket diapers are on super sale at ) for less than $14 a diaper! We loved using these (size small and medium) for the first 5-6 months with Eli.

I love cloth diapering and love it when others get excited about it, too! I'll be following your blog from now on-can't wait to "meet" the little guy.

What area of St. Louis do you live in??

About Me

My photo
I'm a new wife and an even newer mom. I have a secret dream to be super-mom. I love to craft, cook, dance and fill my life with as many adventures as possible. I'm slightly crunchy granola but enjoy a good steak. I'm right brained and type B (with some type A tendencies). I thrive best when I get to use my creative juices. I dabble in photography and party planning. I play piano and have a dream to learn the cello. I want to make the most of this one, short life I find myself living.

About This Blog

This blog was originally intended to be a personal journal of my pregnancy journey and all that that entails--shared with only a few close family members. It was a way for me to keep them posted on all things baby and occasionally post a picture of my growing torso so they could see the progress. After several posts, I started to get hooked on other blogs and became motivated to attempt to do more with mine. We'll see how it goes....
