My birds flew West...

My big sister, Stacie, moved to L.A. 10ish years ago. It has been one of the hardest things to deal with. It was only worsened when she had my nephew, Micah, 11 months before I had Cole. Missing watching him grow and learn is so hard to accept. He is such a different person every time they come to visit. They have been here for the last two weeks. Its been insanity. I wake up, pack up and spend the entire day there for their whole visit. Cole and I sneak in late at night and sleep as long as we can before we do it all over again. My mom spends a ton on groceries and basically has a constant buffet of deliciousness going the whole time. Its constant fun, cuddles and catching up over cups of coffee while the wind gusts through the towering oaks. We lull babies to sleep on the porch swing and take sunset boat rides in the 170 acre lake. Pure heaven.

Such beautiful pictures and sweet memories. Both boys are "crazy cute"! I know you cherish each and every visit!

About Me

My photo
I'm a new wife and an even newer mom. I have a secret dream to be super-mom. I love to craft, cook, dance and fill my life with as many adventures as possible. I'm slightly crunchy granola but enjoy a good steak. I'm right brained and type B (with some type A tendencies). I thrive best when I get to use my creative juices. I dabble in photography and party planning. I play piano and have a dream to learn the cello. I want to make the most of this one, short life I find myself living.

About This Blog

This blog was originally intended to be a personal journal of my pregnancy journey and all that that entails--shared with only a few close family members. It was a way for me to keep them posted on all things baby and occasionally post a picture of my growing torso so they could see the progress. After several posts, I started to get hooked on other blogs and became motivated to attempt to do more with mine. We'll see how it goes....
